Property: Colorless of white crystal. Relative density 1.62(20°C), melting point 73.3-76.7°C(decomposition). Dissolve in water, effloresces easily in the dried air. The aqueous solution can corrode skin, doesn't dissolve in ethanol (CH3CH2OH) and carbon disulfide(CS2)
Uses: As water softener, detergent boiler scale inhibitor for chemical industry, textile industry, printing and dyeing, Papermaking and generating electricity, Also can decontaminate, prevent metal corrosion and rust.
